We all love collaborations, it’s how many of us can (myself included), access an incredible design. This time I will tell you about the collaboration between one of my favorite designers from around the world and one of the most important accessories brands.
Mr. Jean Paul Gaultier has already collaborated with Swarovski in the past, including these beautiful sparkles in his garments, now the surprise is that he has created a collection of jewelry for the brand and I cantell you that it is SPECTACULAR. I would not expect less from this gentleman.
The collection is so Gaultier! It is intended for both woman and man, and why not? Knowledgeable and stylish, because it combines the brilliance and glam of the brand with a rocker touch and the result are timeless pieces, which can be worn at any age, with a biker jacket or with a gown. These are pieces that are simply worth investing in because you will use them millions of times, today, tomorrow in 10 years, in 20 years, day, afternoon and night.
A curious fact that I read about is that the stones used for the collection are the result of a year and a half of development by Swarovski, product of the vision of dear Jean Paul, this new type of stone named Kapput that means Broken in German. These stones define them as a perfect / imperfect stone that on one side is transparent and on the other side not and with many irregular facets. Kapput stones designed by Gaultier will be available to other designers and other collections.
Jean Paul not only created a collection but created a new stone, and so when talking about this collaboration can only be described as SPECTACULAR!
Todos amamos las colaboraciones, es la forma en la que muchos pueden, (podemos claro que me incluyo), acceder a un diseño increíble. En esta ocasión les voy a contar sobre la colaboración entre uno de mis diseñadores favoritos de todo el mundo mundial y una de las marcas más importantes de accesorios.
Ya en el pasado el Sr. Jean Paul Gaultier había colaborado con Swarovski, incluyendo estos hermosos brillos en sus prendas, ahora la sorpresa es que ha creado una colección de joyería para la marca y de verdad les puedo decir que es ESPECTACULAR, y no podría esperarse menos de este señor.
¡La colección es tan Gaultier! Está pensada para una mujer y un hombre ¿por qué no? conocedor(a), y con estilo, debido a que combina el brillo y el glam de la marca con un toque rocker y el resultado son piezas atemporales, que pueden ser usados a cualquier edad, con una biker jacket o con un gown, un vestido de noche. Estas son piezas que simplemente vale la pena invertir porque las usarás millones de veces, hoy, mañana en 10 años, en 20 años, de día, de tarde y de noche.
Un dato curioso que leí por ahí, es que las piedras utilizadas para la colección son el resultado de un año y medio de desarrollo por Swarovski, producto de la visión del querido Jean Paul, A este nuevo tipo de piedra las nombro Kapput que quiere decir roto en alemán. Estas piedras las definío como una piedra perfecta/imperfecta que de un lado es transparente y del otro lado no y con muchas facetas irregulares. Kapput las piedras concebidas por Gaultier estarán disponibles para otros diseñadores y otras colecciones.
Jean Paul no solo creó una colección sino creo una nueva piedra, y por esto al hablar de esta colaboración solo se puede describir como ¡ESPECTACULAR!
