Today was amazing! We woke up super early to visit a Pisco factory!!! Pisco, is the national drink of Peru. It is a distilled beverage made from grapes and is produced in various regions of the country. The most popular drink in Peru is by far the Pisco Sour, and I loved it!!
Like any other spirit (absinthe in particular springs to mind) there are some major differences in process, type, and quality depending on whether it is made in one country or another – in this case Chile or Peru, and even whether ones area’s spirit can be called the same name (much like the Czech vs. French and Swiss Absinthe debates).
We try wine too!! and Peruvian wine is mainly a combination of wine with pisco added into the mixture to stop the fermentation process. Peruvian wine is therefore different from regular wine which would be pure wine without pisco.
Hoy fue increíble! Nos despertamos muy temprano para visitar una fábrica de Pisco!!! El Pisco es la bebida nacional de Perú. Es una bebida destilada de uvas y se produce en varias regiones del país. La bebida más popular en el Perú es por mucho el Pisco Sour, y me encantó !!
Al igual que cualquier otro destilado (como el ajenjo que es lo que se me viene a la mente) hay algunas diferencias importantes en el proceso, el tipo y la calidad en función de si se hace en un país u otro – en este caso Chile o Perú, e incluso si el espíritu de las área puede llamar el mismo nombre (al igual que la República Checa vs Francia y el debato suizo del Absinthe).
Y bueno probamos vinos también!! El vino peruano es principalmente una combinación de vino con pisco añadido a la mezcla para detener el proceso de fermentación. También encontramos vino sin pisco.
